Do I have to remove staples or
paperclips from the documents?

No, staples and paper
clips are fine. |
Some of my documents are still
in the envelopes. Is this
okay?

Can I watch everything being shredded?
|
Yes, you watch your documents being shredded while you wait. |
Is there a long wait?

The longest average wait time is 10-15 minutes. |
Is "free shred" really free?
|
Yes, it is free during free shred times. |
What do I bring my documents in?
|
The documents are emptied onto a conveyor which transports them directly into the shredder so you can bring them in anything you want. It could be cardboard boxes, plastic containers, trash bags, etc. Our staff will give you back your container. |
What days and times do you have free shredding?
|
Fridays between 4-6PM and Saturday mornings between 10-12. |
Is there a limit on how much I can bring?
|
No, there is no limit and no minimum. |
Are individuals and companies allowed to come to free shred?
Are Certificates of Destruction given?
|
Certificates of Destruction are given upon request. |
Can someone help me unload my vehicle?
|
Our staff is happy and willing to help anyone unload their documents. |
What happens to the shredded documents?
|
The documents are taken to a recycling facility where it is made into paper towels, tissue paper, and other recycled products. |
What if I can’t bring my documents during the free shredding times?
|
You can set up an appointment and pay $50.00 to have your documents shredded. If you have more than 50 boxes, there is no charge. |
